It has been another great year for GCOMM and we are delighted to share with you our many accomplishments that reflect our entire team’s continual effort to deliver the very best IT services to our customers and partners.
From celebrating GCOMM’s 17th birthday and being recognised for excellence in customer service to making important upgrades to our network, we’ve accomplished a number of milestones. Each one is a testament to our dedication to continuing to be a leader in delivering the very best in IT services to Australia’s businesses.
Here are just a few highlights that made 2013 a year to celebrate:
Investing in our core infrastructure is one of our top priorities as it enables us to support our customers’ businesses with a super fast, high performance, reliable broadband network. That’s why we upgraded our infrastructure with the latest generation of Cisco ASR1600 routers. We also expanded our network footprint to include an additional point of presence (PoP) located in Darwin, enabling GCOMM partners to extend their services to the Northern Territory.
This year, we also made significant investment in improving a number of our services to better serve our customers and partners.
We expanded LiveBackup’s service offering to include storage as a service. We also upgraded LiveBackup with the latest version of Asigra’s cloud backup and restore software v12.2, which now enables LiveBackup to provide backup and restore for Google Apps, as well as Single-Pass Backup and Recovery for MS SharePoint and MS Exchange.
Additionally, GCOMM has started implementing a new Management Information System (MIS), which will enable us to be more efficient at serving our customers and partners, taking customer experience to a whole new level.
This year, we also expanded GCOMM’s service suite to include a hosted firewall service, enabling small businesses to secure their WAN and take advantage of enterprise technology without the associated cost.
To continue providing excellent service to our increasing customer and partner base, we have doubled our technical support team. And through our Support Central platform, our customers provided positive feedback and rated our services with 100% satisfaction – a milestone in customer care we are particularly proud of.
In October, GCOMM received the Gold Coast Business Excellence Award in the Knowledge Management and IT category. This is the seventh time GCOMM has been recognised by the committee, which exemplifies our commitment to providing a superior level of service to our customers and partners.
This past April, at the annual Asigra Partner Summit, LiveBackup was recognised for developing the Best Cloud Backup and Recovery Marketing Campaign, another example of our dedication to innovation and excellence.
With 2013 coming to a close, we look back with excitement on all the improvements we made for our business and for our clients’ businesses and look forward to another year of continuing to deliver exceptional IT services to companies across Australia.♦ End
