GCOMM is proud to be a sponsor of various charity events in Australia. Over the years, the company has donated to a number of causes, including Starlight Children’s Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation. Most recently, the team took part in the BBC Charity Golf Day at Arundel Hills Country Club, which took place on May 1.
BBC, GCOMM’s valued business associate, organised the golf charity event to raise funds and support their Sales Manager and a keen cyclist, Mark Clough, partaking in Chain Reaction Challenge Queensland 2014. The Chain Reaction Challenge is the Ultimate Corporate Bike Challenge that raises money for sick children by challenging senior executives who have a passion for cycling and awareness of their corporate and social responsibilities.
Todd Brooker, GCOMM’s Sales Director and Steve Cannard, Infrastructure Deployment Manager, enjoyed strengthening the relationship with BBC and playing golf with the well-known ex AFL footballer, Peter “Spida” Everitt, all while supporting Mr Clough for participating in the 7-day cycling event. The cyclists covered more than 1000 kilometers to raise funds for sick children.
