GCOMM is very proud of having had a very low staff turnover over the past 17 years. Almost half of the current employees started working for the company during its first 2 to 3 years of operations. Most were fresh out of school and not so experienced, but with many great ideas and desire to succeed.
As the company has been growing over the years, so have its employees – both in their professional and personal lives. Many have started families and found themselves in new roles – being parents.
“Parenting is a total change in my life. No one told me that having a newborn baby is a 24/7 mission! However, it is also the most rewarding experience ever.”, said Joanne Hayes, GCOMM’s Business Analyst and IS Manager.

Jay Lehnert, Solutions Architect at GCOMM, described the parenting experience as extremely rewarding and added, “I am a lot more sympathetic to other people’s crying babies”.

“Life has changed from being self-centred to selfless, putting another person first continuously. Ella is only 9 months old, but in the short period so much has changed in our lives, each day is filled with new surprises.”, Craig Deutsher, Technical Director, shared with us.

Congratulations Joanne, Jay and Craig on the new additions to your families!♦ End
